A made-to-measure blind from us costs from £33 a window fitted, which is the three-for-£99 vertical blind offer divided by three. Most people spend more than that, because they choose a patterned fabric, a bigger window or a different type of blind, but the offers are the honest floor, and the price we quote on the visit includes measuring, fitting and a 12-month warranty.
The fixed-price offers
Three offers are priced as sets of three blinds, in plain fabrics, up to a maximum size. You can spread the three across different rooms, and you can combine offers.
| Offer | Price, fitted | Fabric | Maximum size | Control |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 3 vertical blinds | £99 | Plain, 5 colours | 6ft × 6ft (182 cm) | Wand |
| 3 roller blinds | £119 | Plain, 15 colours | 6ft × 6ft (182 cm) | White chain |
| 3 day & night blinds | £269 | Plain, 3 colours | 5ft × 5ft (152 cm) | Metallic chain |
| Fauxwood venetian blinds | 20% off | 13 finishes | 94in (240 cm) wide | Cord and wand |
| Roman blinds | 20% off | 2 ranges × 12 colours | 7ft wide × 5ft drop | Metallic chain |
The small print is short: patterned and designer fabrics are quoted separately, a blind bigger than the maximum carries an extra charge, top-fix brackets are extra, and a three-sided bay window needs three blinds, so one bay counts as a full set.
What moves the price above the offers
- Fabric. A plain fabric is the offer price; a patterned, blackout, thermal or designer fabric costs more, and we bring the sample books so you can see the difference against your own walls before deciding.
- Size. Width times drop sets how much fabric and mechanism a blind needs. Patio doors and wide bays cost more than a bathroom window.
- Type. Vertical and roller blinds are the cheapest to make. Day and night, pleated, Perfect Fit and INTU sit in the middle. Wooden, Roman and electric blinds cost the most because of the materials or the motor.
- Control. Chain and wand are standard. Metallic chains, split fabrics and motorisation add to the price.
- Fitting position. Inside the recess with face-fix brackets is standard. Top-fix brackets, or fitting outside the recess, are a small extra.
A worked example: a three-bedroom semi
A typical three-bedroom semi has eight or nine windows. Three plain vertical blinds in the bedrooms are £99 fitted. Three plain roller blinds downstairs are £119 fitted. That leaves two or three windows, usually the living room and the kitchen, where people pick a patterned fabric or a different style, and those are quoted on the visit. Everything is one written quote, fixed for 30 days.
What is included, and what you pay when
- Measuring and fitting are included for every customer in our area. There is no travel charge.
- The quote is written, fixed and valid for 30 days. It is the price you pay.
- A 50% deposit when you order; the balance when fitting is complete. Shutters and special orders may need a larger deposit, stated on the quote.
- A 12-month warranty on every blind and its fitting; PVC shutters carry a 10-year manufacturer warranty.
Why we do not publish a full price list
Every blind is made to the exact size of your window, so a price list would have to be a grid of hundreds of sizes for each of fifteen blind types and several hundred fabrics. The free home visit replaces that: the adviser measures each window, shows you the fabrics, and writes the price next to each one. There is no obligation and no follow-up pressure.
Book a free home visit and get a fixed quote for every window on the day.
